Denmark’s Radio Nova wins FM5 license for next eight years

Bauer Media Audio Denmark’s radio station Nova has won the license for FM5 for the next eight years.

Nova is Bauer Media Audio’s largest brand in Denmark and most successful commercial radio station.

Bauer says the station will continue to develop and innovate the commercial audio and radio market helping to boost and further advance Denmark’s commercial sector, together with sales partners Jysk Fynsk Medier, Radio ABC and Nordjysk Medier.

“The FM5 license is incredibly important to us. It is the single license that covers most of the country and reaches over a million listeners every week,” says Jim Receveur, CEO Bauer Media Audio Denmark.

“We look forward to continuing to entertain, inform and engage our listeners and advertisers for the next eight years. Audio is extremely popular right now and we feel very privileged that we were chosen to continue the successful journey we have had up to now.”

The FM5 license that Nova transmits on today is renewed from November 20th, 2022, and will run for the next eight years.
